Peer Review Process
All submitted manuscripts are initially read by the editorial team. The manuscripts that do not meet to journal’s criteria will be rejected without further peer-review. The manuscripts that meet the journal’s criteria will be sent to reviewers (double-blind peer review). The Editor-in-Chief assigns generally two reviewers to evaluate the manuscript. The editors then make a decision based on the reviewer’s comments and recommendation as follows: Accept Submission, Revision Required, Resubmit for Review, Decline Submission.
The Editor-in-Chief of Analis Kesehatan Sains has full authority to decide which of the manuscripts submitted to the journal should be published.
Review Process:
- Submission: Authors submit the articles
- First Screening: Appraisal by the Editor in chief (some manuscripts are rejected or returned before further peer review)
- Accepted for the Peer Review
- Editor in chief assigns an section editor
- Invitation to reviewer: Double-blind peer review process
- Editor evaluates and considers decision. If the reviews differ widely, the editor may invite an additional reviewer so as to get an extra opinion before making a decision.
- Confirmation to the authors: If “Accept submission”, the paper is send to production. If the article is “Revision Required” or “Resubmit for Review” for either major or minor revision. The author should include constructive comments from the reviewers to improve the article. The revise manuscript is send to editor and the reviewers will receive a new version.
